Yijun joined ExxonMobil Upstream Research Company (URC) in 2013. Her initial assignments included developing processing and surveillance technologies, and plant data analytic models for Kearl oil sands mining project.
Her current work in LNG & Enabling Technology team involves R&D and projects related to LNG technologies.
Prior to joining ExxonMobil, Yijun dedicated in developing a first-of-a-kind process that converts natural gas to liquid fuels and other valuable chemicals. She also worked on international projects commercializing coal gasification technology and producing nylon intermediates, respectively.
Yijun received BSc in chemical engineering from Tsinghua University in China (2002) and PhD in the same major from Clemson University in USA (2007).
