The 19th International Conference & Exhibition on Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG2019) is presented by the International Gas Union (IGU), Gas Technology Institute (GTI) and the International Institute of Refrigeration (IIR) – the only LNG event owned by the industry, run for the industry.
LNG2019 is approved by the State Council of the People’s Republic of China and supported by the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government – it will be the largest LNG event ever held in China, the world’s fastest growing LNG market. This edition is hosted by China LNG Association, China Gas Society, The Chinese Association of Refrigeration and China Gas Association. LNG2019 Plenary Speakers
- “The legal and regulatory landscape pertaining to LNG is evolving rapidly across Asia. Established LNG markets such as China, as well as new and emerging LNG markets in South Asia, are facing similar issues relating to the tradeability of LNG as a commodity – including the application or otherwise of destination restrictions and also the underlying pricing fundamentals – as well as the provision of access to LNG import and transportation infrastructure. It is an exciting time for LNG in the region and we are looking forward to monitoring developments in the industry as we move into 2019.”
- “Knowledge sharing, especially in the area of technology innovation, is one of the consistent themes of the LNG X Series. The LNG Forum ‘Technical Innovation for the Future of LNG’ is one of my favorite sessions since LNG14; I look forward to the open Q&A that promotes knowledge sharing, highlights key accomplishments, and answers the questions facing the future of LNG.”
- "The networking opportunities will be terrific. It’s a fascinating time for our industry and all the key participants will be at LNG2019, ready to talk about how we as an industry can respond to the re-balancing in the market."
- "As a project company that differentiates itself through process technology and new approaches to project execution including modularisation and FLNG, we are particularly looking forward to discussions about new solutions that will bring down project cost, improve safety and energy efficiency and secure and improve schedule."
- "We look forward to hearing the views of our clients and industry observers about where the LNG market is going, but as a very adaptable company we know that whatever route the industry takes we will be able to contribute."
